ZIMS at Work: Managing diverse species and habitats with the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland
To learn more about managing such a diverse collection across multiple sites, we spoke with RZSS Curator Jo Elliott and Senior Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Adam Naylor. They discussed the role of information shared using non-profit Species360’s Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) and recent changes to expand staff access to husbandry, medical, and studbooks data.
New Member: Ireland’s largest aquarium joins Species360
New Species360 aquarium member Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium is Ireland’s largest aquarium and a member of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA).
Hannah Jenkins joins Species360 Member Training Team
We are fortunate to share that Hannah Jenkins has joined Species360 as a Member Training Specialist, expanding our staff based in Europe. Hannah comes to Species360 from the Zoological Society of London where she was Zoological Registrar for ZSL London and ZSL Whipsnade Zoos.
