Species360 is pleased to welcome new team members Chloe Qian as Data Engineer and LaTia MaGee as Senior Accountant.
Located in California, (United States), Chloe holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems Management from the University of North Carolina and brings more than six years of experience as both a data analyst and data engineer. She creates and implements data engineering solutions, develops dashboards for various analytical purposes, and has expertise in various ETL (extract, transform, load) computational tools, cloud technologies, and agile environments.
“I am excited to be part of Species360 because its mission to support global wildlife conservation and biodiversity aligns closely with my values. Joining a team that leverages data and technology to make a tangible impact on the preservation of species is both inspiring and fulfilling,” said Chloe.
LaTia joined Species360 in January as Senior Accountant. Located in Georgia, United States, LaTia brings more than 15 years of experience in every aspect of accounting, primarily in the nonprofit sector.
“I love how this organization is using data and science to support animals and the survival of species. I am excited to be part of a talented team with so many accomplishments, and I want to help achieve many more,” said LaTia.
LaTia joins the Species360 team as we say goodbye to long-time colleague Krista Turchi, who many of you may know from her steadfast work on behalf of our organization and our community. We wish all the best to Krista and we thank you for contributing so much to our success.
