Photo Ark: Joel Sartore images featured in ZIMS

There is a new look on the ZIMS login and desktop screens, featuring images by famed wildlife photographer Joel Sartore. As founder of the Photo Ark, a 25-year effort by National Geographic to photograph every species in human care around the globe, Joel is an increasingly more familiar face among conservationists and educators. He often visits zoos and aquariums as he photographs individual animals representing their species.

As a global nonprofit, Species360 facilitates international collaboration in recording and sharing essential data on species. They represent non-profit and for-profit, large and small institutions.

New in ZIMS: Batch Edit!

Have you ever written a batch note or observation and then wanted to edit the batch? Now you can! The ZIMS for Husbandry team added this functionality that was requested by Species360 members. When creating notes and observations using a batch action, you can edit the individual record afterwards. When editing the record, you will see the option to edit for the entire batch or for the individual.
