Within three days of its release, more than 40 Species360 institutional members began using ZIMS in French, and we look forward to many more accessing this new resource. Thanks to AFdPZ, corporate sponsor St. Laurent, member volunteers, and our Member Support team for making this possible.

ZIMS is available in French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and English.

Requested by studbook keepers and registrars alike, ZIMS for Husbandry will automatically display Studbook IDs in the Husbandry animal identifier grid.

As a Species360 conservation grant recipient, the Red Siskin Conservation Center (RSCC) at Leslie Pantin zoo will curate and husbandry data with international species survival program partners, including the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, Zoo Miami, Brevard Zoo, National Aviary in Pittsburgh, and members of WAZA, AZA, EAZA, ZAA (Australasia), Brazilian Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZAB), and more. The RSCC was established in 2019 through a grant from AZA.
