Species: Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute brings back the Brookies

Last week I came across this news from our friends at the Tennessee Aquarium where they are working to save a species of native trout. Freshwater fish conservation is critically important as about 50% of fish species live in freshwater, yet freshwater makes up only about 3% of the planet’s water. The conservation of these habitats and their native species was a key topic among the panelists at our recent Aquatics Webinar, and we will continue to support this and marine species conservation our work at Species360.
Read more about Species360 member Tennessee Aquarium, their impact, and how they use the Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) in their work.
