China’s Changxing Taihu Longzhimeng Animal World Joins Species360

Species360 member Changxing Taihu Longzhimeng Animal World, west of Shanghai, will use the Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) to help manage care of wildlife.

Changxing Taihu Longzhimeng Animal World (Longemont Animal World) has joined the Species360 community. The wildlife park, scheduled to open later this year, is part of a $2.9 billion complex in the city of Huzhou, 120 miles west of Shanghai.

“As a global organization, we are glad to welcome Changxing Taihu Longzhimeng as our newest member in China,” said Peter Donlon, Director of Global Member Development, Species360.

Longemont will use the Species360 Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) to support the care and welfare of more than 11,000 animals.

Together, Species360 members curate the world’s largest set of wildlife species data, creating a valuable resource for improving animal welfare and informing species conservation.
