Costa Rica: Endangered Parrot Breeding and Conservation Center Joins Species360

Species360 welcomes new member Alianza para la Reintroducción de la AVIFAUNA (The ARA Project), a parrot conservation, breeding, and reintroduction initiative in Costa Rica. ARA has a rich history of success re-introducing these endangered species to their natural habitats, and leads multiple, localized programs in regions of Costa Rica. Their goal is species restoration, adding to scientific knowledge of these species, education and conservation, as well as training leaders to continue conservation programs well into the future — and will use ZIMS to support these objectives!
